Trubofire Chili

TurboFire Chili

I'm a sucker for a good, easy to throw together meal, and this takes the cake  ooo, cake!
Anyways, I just love being able to come home after a long day and not think much about
what I am making for dinner.

Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground meat( turkey or
beef)
½ cup diced tomatoes
8 oz. corn, canned(use what you
have on hand--I've even used
frozen before)
½ onion, diced--(red, yellow,
white or any combination you
like)
2 cloves garlic
8 oz. black beans, canned
8 oz. pinto, chili, or kidney beans canned
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 TBS Chili powder
1/2 TBS Cumin
1 tsp each pink salt & black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 pinch saffron or red chili flakes
4 oz. low-fat shredded cheddar cheese (optional, well maybe to some people,
but cheese is never optional in MY house haha!)

Directions. Brown ground meat. Drain and discard any fat. Place all ingredients
except cheese into a slow cooker. Cook for 4 hours on low or 2 hours on high.
Top with 1 oz cheese if desired.

You can also throw all the ingredients together and cook on the stove if dinner is
an after thought on some crazy days.

There is always plenty for leftovers, one of my favorite uses is to top a baked
sweet potato with it!
