Family council printable

I have moved my blog to a new home at premeditatedmother.com please come visit us!
You can find this printable and post here:

About a year ago I started another blog, that I hardly ever used(lost ambition), and now I am going to delete it.  I did however have one post on there that I did not want to lose.  This one!!
I love having family council, and the organization and closeness it helps bring into our family.  Even though our kids are very young and they don't get much out of it, I still have them around and participate when necessary.  We use the for I created, once a month, usually the last Sunday of the month.  If you want any revisions made, just email me, and I'll see what I can do.  If you like this, let me know!!

I have really been thinking a lot about how to raise our family so that we are closer and so that our children feel like they can confide in each other and us as parents.  With this thinking has come to mind the need to have a family council night.  We have done calendaring and scheduling but it wasn’t going quite where I wanted to.  But how do you get to where you want to go if you don’t know how to get there!  So I went searching.  I didn’t have to search very far or long before I came upon this pin that had great suggestions.  It is a printable with a personal interview sheet as well.  Thank you Miss Poppins for this post it has really given me the start that I needed.

I real love the steps mentioned in this printable, but as we were having our first family council using this guide, I kept feeling like I was grabbing all kinds of papers to jot things down on.  So I decided to use the same information, but typed it in a way that it would be easy to write down what you’re talking about in each step.  I hope that makes sense.

For our family council I found it helpful to have a calendar on hand(I use a little pocket calendar from my husbands work), your families goals, and also a pen.  You could also use some type of planner.  I am working on creating one for next year, for myself :)

I hope this helps you feel like you have more of a foundation for your family council nights!!
