New Year, Better You!

A few years ago I went to a wedding reception at church and I ran into a friend who was really into the fitness scene.  We had talked previously about what we were each doing, new things we were trying and the results we were seeing.  I wasn't nearly as committed as she was(she is now an amazing body builder and trainer BTW).

Anyways, there we were, the typical Mormon reception with the gauzy material draped above us and the warm glow from the lights swooped all around.  People were talking, music was playing and then...

she walked up, grabbed my butt said "nice" and walked away.  
.
I was totally embarrassed because I knew I was not anywhere near where she was with fitness. I told myself I was working out hard, that was a lie, I did like 12 minute workouts and I didn't even push that hard.  I was justifying eating like crap, because I was working out(those cancel each other out, right?)  
.
I know this might sound silly, but one of my new years goals is to not just get my butt in gear, but yours too!  After having babies it's easy to say that my body will never be the same.  You know what, that is alright, AND I don't want it to be the same, I just want to improve what I've got!
