Slow cooker Honey Garlic Chicken

A friend of mine shared a similar recipe with me and I didn't have all the ingredients exactly as called for(which is normal) so I chose to make it anyways, but healthified.

Ingredients:
(sauce)
1/2 Cup Bragg's Liquid Aminos(or soy sauce)
1/2 cup honey
4 garlic cloves, minced
1tsp pepper
1tsp Mrs. Dash Garlic Herb seasoning
1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes(or saffron)





4 chicken breasts
2 cups carrots
1 medium sweet potato diced

Whisk together sauce ingredients and set aside.

Place 1 cup carrots  and half the sweet potato in the bottom of the slow cooker


Place two pieces of chicken on top , then layer again with the carrots and sweet potatoes, and the other two pieces of chicken.



Pour the sauce mixture over the top of the layered food and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8.

I served it with a romaine salad, dijon mustard as dressing and feta crumbles on top.
