Here is another tasty, and healthy recipe for you, I served mine with brown rice and steamed veggies. My husband drowned his in BBQ sauce, that man can make anything unhealthy, lol!!
1lb Lean ground meat (i used turkey)
1/2 c. Oats
1/4 c. Tomato sauce
1/2 medium onion, chopped
2-3 cloves garlic, chopped(i always use the pre minced garlic in a jar)
1 egg
Salt, pepper, seasonings to taste
Mix ingredients in large bowl. Roll into 1 inch balls and bake on cookie sheet for 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes 24 meatballs.
Freeze leftovers and reheat in oven at 350 for 5 minutes OR heat in microwave.
VARIATIONS:you can add red/green bell peppers, cayenne pepper, cilantro, parsley, and other herbs/spices and veggies.
